Sales Team Leader

As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for the most important asset at Mylo, our licensed agents. Your primary objective, as their leader, will be to support your team and team members, in such a way, that each team member performs to the best of their ability and potential. Amongst other things, the Team Leader is the coach, the motivator, the resource, the problem solver, the communicator, the analyst and at times, the performance manager. An effective Team Leader at Mylo is goal oriented, driven to be successful, and able to lead a team through the ups and downs of a dynamic sales environment. Said differently, the ideal Team Leader loves a challenge, and knows how to win.

Our Ideal Candidates will:

  • Driving sales results by providing feedback on execution of the sales process focused on maximizing performance and efficiency
  • Effectively communicate expectations and goals to agents during one-on-ones and monthly performance reviews

  • Engaged on the sales floor each day focused on development of sales agents

  • Execute agent-level performance management, including corrective action, as needed

  • Review and analyze reports and agent pipelines to recognize trends and process gaps to develop a plan to coach agents on opportunities for performance improvement

  • Daily coaching and monitoring of all agents and telemarketing screeners to include performing side by side evaluations for providing real time feedback, encouragement and assistance

  • Provide appropriate support and guidance to agents

  • Promote and increase training topic opportunities

  • Provide timely feedback and recommendations to peers and leaders to assist with the team’s metrics being accomplished

  • Review QA findings and work with agents to improve process and successful execution of sales calls

  • Working to execute call performance strategies provided by leadership team

  • Facilitate weekly team meeting and training sessions as needed

  • Assist with placement of specialized insurance needs as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business-related program or equivalent education and/or work experience

  • Ability to obtain and maintain license in property and casualty insurance

  • 3-5 years insurance sales experience

  • Experience in managing sales professionals to expectations

  • Strong understanding of property/casualty coverages, servicing of accounts and general rating concepts

  • Experience with SalesForce preferred
